7. Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya

One of the best gardens in Asia and the largest green park on the island. They are of these gardens is almost 65 hectares. These botanical gardens are divided into thematic zones that are located on the banks of Mahaweli River in the most beautiful hilly area. These gardens are well known as the world’s richest collection of plants. In 1822 it was considered to the foundation year thats is the main time when the arrival of British, although it was first mentions to be distant of 1372.

6. Dambulla Cave Temple

This is one of the largest stone cave temples in South Asia. This sacred place of pilgrimage is located on the top of this mountain with a picturesque forest. In the caves of this temple there more 160 statues of buddha and 75 of them are completely covered by gold. There are several cave walls are also covered with unique Buddhist wall paintings. if you wanna visit this temple you must cover your legs and shoulders and also remove your shoes before you enter this temple.
