Super Food for Breast Health
1. Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
Consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables along with moderate exercise reduces the risk of developing breast cancer. Fresh fruits are rich in nutrients and antioxidants and vegetables provide potassium, fiber, vitamins A and C which again prevent many diseases and some cancers.
2. Dairy Products and Poultry
Dairy products nourish our body with calcium, vitamin D and healthy bacteria. Dairy products also help in fighting cancer. Replacing red meat with a polterian diet, provides the body with fiber, protein and antioxidants that prevents cancer.
3. Omega 3

Women who have low levels of vitamin D have a higher risk of developing breast cancer. Vitamin D regulates the normal development of breast cells which reduces the risk of breast cancer. If you have low vitamin D levels, less than 25 ng/mL, you should take a weekly supplement for at least 6 months. Sun bath is also a good source of vitamin D.

Women who are deficient in linoleic acid may be more sensitive to hormone fluctuations, and evening primrose may help reduce deficiency and abnormal menstruation.
10.Exercise and Meditation
Exercise, yoga and meditation relax your body, mind and help in maintaining hormonal imbalance. After menopause, a woman should do activity for 30-45 minutes daily. Walking, gardening, yoga, tennis are all moderate activities that are suitable for people of all ages. Meditation reduces stress in cancer patients and enhances coping mechanisms and well-being.
